A Tabletop Game Designed by Ethan Gill and Ryan Harper
Handcrafted Components. Pure Skill. Medieval Chaos.
Flik began as a modest spark of ingenuity between two high school juniors stuck in the confines of an AP Research classroom. To cure their overwhelming boredom, they used an electric box cutter and cardboard scraps to forge a crude tabletop game. Dubbed Flick Chess, the game grew to be a sensation among classmates, though it was eventually set aside as the school year gave way to summer.
The project remained dormant until late February of the following year, when the original prototype was rediscovered. This sparked a period of intense development and craftsmanship. The creators moved beyond cardboard, designing 3D printed pieces, handmaking wood game boards, and crafting custom storage boxes. They further expanded the game with a cast of new characters and refined mechanics until the game was entirely reshaped and officially christened Flik.
